1) I'm looking for a reproduction hunting rifle (if it's a toy, all the better, as it needs to be light enough to carry around all day!), for my Sarah Jane Smith (Dr. Who, Tom Baker-era, "Pyramids of Mars" story). Can anyone point me to a website or real-life store for this?

2) Once I've got it: dare I put it in my checked luggage? (I fly out from Chicago's O'Hare airport into Hartsfield.) Or should I ship it to the Marriott? I know I can FedEx it home, but does the Marriott charge some sort of fee (I'm assuming it does) for receiving & holding a package? Have any of you on this LJ shipped something to this hotel...and what are your experiences with it?

Thanks...this would be the first time I'm doing any sort of costuming that requires weaponry! :)
And I know to come to the Security Room, to have it peace-bound.
