Does Mr. Shatner charge to sign one of his books? How much does he charge? Do the trek stars charge to sign the Next Generation Trading Cards? I mean, they are small baseball sized cards and it seems a little high to charge 30 bucks for one of those.

Just want to give all Sanctaury fans a heads up. On Craig Damon's Photo's with the Stars. They added Robin Dunne single and duo with Amanda Tapping.

I just wish who ever is running the Dragoncon convention website would update the guest properly. Froggy had Laurie Holden listed for some time until a few days ago. Dragoncon has finally added her to the guest but the only way you can tell is click on the dated additions, or you can scroll down in alphabeticalical order. For some reason they didn't list her name and actress Autumn Reeser to the main bunch of names on top of the guest listings. So far the same with Robin Dunne.

I've only been to one author signing at the Marriott and that was one I just walked right in on. However, I've seen people lined up all the way past the Dragon*Con store in the past. How does the room work? Is it like the registration line where there's one central line for everyone, that branches out into smaller lines or are there separate lines for all four authors? I enjoy Kevin J. Anderson as much as the next guy, but I don't want to spend 3 hours in line for his autograph because he's sitting next to Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Sorry about a potentially stupid question, but I'm a newbie here and was hoping for some help.  I was looking at the schedule, and saw that some of the guests will be appearing in the Walk of Fame.  Is there a way to find out when they will be there, or is that just luck of the draw?  Any help would be appreciated!

I just found out that Froggy's Dragon*Con Photo-Ops Pre-Sales have CLOSED and I'm kinda annoyed/frustrated because I sent at least four e-mails to Froggy a long time ago asking him when it was going to close and he never responded back.

Anyways, does anyone know if Froggy's Photo-Op tickets can be purchased AT the con? I am absolutely PRAYING that this is the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I am trying to figure out what several actors rate for a signature on. Do Walk of Fame celebrities have to announce how much they are charging for a signature? I am wondering how much people like Adam Savage, Maurice Lamarache, Phil Lamarr and Brandon Routh will cost for an autograph. I would like to have some money leftover to get a sketch or exclusive from the comics and Pop Alley artists. When you see $60 for a Photo from someone like James Marsters, you wonder whether many autographs will close to $100 for each one.

Ok, that's Adam Savage after Michael Shanks, just when I was beginning to wonder about this years walk of fame.  Now if they will just add Malcolm McDowell (again) and perhaps if we are insanely lucky Segourney Weaver and go on then but I don't want to push my luck Bruce Cambell- oh and last years stargate panel I'm be a happy Droogy.

Hi I wont be there till Sunday and was wondering if with all the photo ops going on are any of the guests taking pictures on the walk of fame? If so are they charging? I am mainly interested in the BSG guests and a few others. If any one knows I would appreciate any info. I am trying to plan ahead of time how many autos and/or pictures I can get and If I can pay less at the walk of fame for a picture than for the photo ops.

Thanks!

I know that since Nimoy cancelled his panel on Saturday, neither of them will be doing any Q&As that day. But will they both still be meeting fans on the walk of fame? We were planning on coming Saturday so we could see them both, but if that's not possible I'd rather save the money and go sunday, when I know Nimoy has a panel. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Question

Hey!

I'm not big into autographs. I would much rather have a minute or two to talk to the celebrity and have that moment to remember.

But I'm always afraid to ask if I can have a photo with them for free.. because I know a lot of them are there to make money and I don't want to make them feel awkward by feeling they kinda have to state that, but then I also don't want the celebrity I look up to, to be rude about me asking.

So is there a nice, friendly way to ask the celebrity without being like, "I'm a cheap ass, can I have a free photo taken with you?"

The only people I feel okie asking are Ghost Hunters/TAPS because they're super sweet and make me feel comfy.

Have any of you asked for just pics with a celebrity, without having to purchase the autograph?

I'm looking through the pocket program (hurray!) and I'm a teeny bit confused. In the back it has when everyone is doing panels and autographs. Some have an actual time listed, while some just say 'walk of fame'. I'm trying to plot out my panels/costumes/path of destruction and not having their info fully listed makes things hard.

Yes, I want everything and I want it now!

Anyway, if anyone can help me figure out when Patrick Stewart and Leonard Nimoy (go big or go home) are doing autographs I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks!

Anyone got any advice about video taping in the Walk of Fame? I'm going to be using my tiny Canon camera. But I'm getting something signed for a friend in Australia and wanted to get the signing taped for her to see .. Is that something you ask the handler about or the celeb themselves?? I don't want to do the wrong thing...

Ok, I know there have been many useful questions on here about celebrity autographs already.   But I'm pretty sure this hasn't been asked yet.  Everyone on here seems pretty sure that Shatner, Nimoy, and Stewart will be asking for more money for their autographs.  Out of my price range I'm sure. But we are used to authors and artists (for the most part), signing for free.  I do have a Star Trek novel by Shatner and also the comic book adaption of it.  I also have a Star Wars comic written by Anthony Daniels.  I think I heard that Shatner even has a new comic comic book series coming out.  So I was wondering if anyone knows if media guests make any exception to autograph pricing for books that they have written as opposed to wanting a signed picture or piece of memorabilia?  It sounds logical in theory that if most authors at DragonCon sign for free that a media guest may have a different rule for something they wrote.

OK, with Froggy's pre-sale going on now, and with Patrick Stewart's price being what it is, I broke down and purchased my first Froggy photo op.  I am familiar with most aspects of the con, and *love* the Walk of Fame.  However, what experience do you guys have (and can pass on to me) about Froggy?  Is it like a cattle drive where you are herded in front of your chosen celeb and have 3 seconds before a photo is taken that looks like a driver's license?  Do you have a sec to speak with your celeb?  (And I am well aware that all the rules may fly out the window when it comes to PS.  I just want some stories to let me know what to expect.)  I assume a schedule is set up on-site as to when to expect the star?  Any info would be appreciated.  =)

I had a great time at DC overall, i hit a few snags driving there but once I finally got there and settled in, things were good
I was just waondering what was up with the walk of fame this year? Is it me or did the celebs seem to be chraging a lot more? Also I think it was JCB's people that were charging $20.00 just to take a picture with them and $30.00 for the auto, is it me or does that seem excessive? When I was in there they had the ;east amount of people waiting to see them. Also I know before some did not pose for photos, but you could at least take pics, I saw many with no camera signs areound and they had someone watching to make sure you did not even take your camera out. What was that about? The BG guys were all great and were taking pictures with people, but many others would not. Just wondering what others think.

When does the Walk of Fame open on Friday?  Also, will the listed Media stars be there every day starting when it opens?
Thanks!

Does anyone know what booth location Torri Higginson will have in the Walk of Fame?  I don't see it listed.
Thanks!
