Hi. I bought 6 photos from Froggy'sPhotos, and with each of these I bought a jpeg. 5 of my 6 jpegs have been put up on their flickr. The one I am missing is with the Phelps brothers on Sunday afternoon. For most of our pics, we bought them online so I have the emails confirming the jpeg. We bought the Phelps photo at Dragoncon on Saturday afternoon. I know that the man asked us if we wanted the jpeg, and we said yes and paid the extra money for it. Unfortunately, I do not have the receipt - it got lost sometime over the weekend.

Froggy's flckr has not been updated at all in several days, so they do not seem to be posting anymore photos. Since email is the only form of communication they give you access to, I sent them an email last week asking about my missing jpeg. I haven't heard any response (which I know is typical). Since I paid for this jpeg, I would like to have it. Does anyone here have any experience with a similar situation or has been able to get a response? I would appreciate any info/advice you can give me. Thanks! :)

I know I preordered a photo op, attempted to cancel, never heard back at all, waited until after Dragon*Con for refund per their policy, never got one. Finally had to open up a Paypal dispute, which finally got them to do a refund, and they claimed their email server had been down, that's why they hadn't responded to email.

Yeah, really glad I didn't get a photo op, and never going to.

Has anyone actually ever taken a survey of the number of Froggy's customers vs. the number of issues? Because it seems to me odds favor there being an issue of some sort when dealing with him. It's situations like this (and the absolutely ridiculous pricing involved) that lead me to feel this service is absolutely not worth it.

Then I've been lucky...

I have had photo ops with Froggy's since my first Dragon*Con in 2008, and I have no gripes at all. They move the masses very efficiently, otherwise it wouldn't be possible to schedule all the celebs they do in one day. They have never lost any of my pictures, and they have always replied to my e-mails, and answered my questions on-site very politely. If you had a bad experience with them, I am sorry. Nobody is forced to use Froggy's services, I almost didn't after hearing the horror stories, however, they had celebs I wanted photos with, so I took the risk, and have had luck so far. Just my 2 cents.

I know that someone posted something on the comm before d*c that mentioned that if needed he could pass on a message or give a phone number or something if someone needed to contact froggy since they never answer e-mails. I'll see if I can find it for you.

My sister and I also had our picture taken with the Phelps twins on Sunday, and our picture was never posted to their Flickr either. My sister had to email them and ask for the jpeg, which she received promptly (much to my shock, I had to browbeat them for my jpeg of Tom Felton last year).

I have used Froggy's Photos for years at various conventions and I have NEVER had a problem. In fact, Froggy himself has gone out of his way on occassion to accommodate my off-the-wall photo op requests, which I always clear with the celebrity beforehand to make sure they're comfortable with my suggested pose.

Any e-mails I've ever sent to him were all answered within 24-48 hours. One does have to take into consideration that Froggy's Photos attends many conventions all over the country taking thousands of photo ops with hundreds of celebrities, so I'm sure at times he and his assistants are overwhelmed.

I will have to admit I was completely surprised to see nearly ALL of his photo ops taken at this years DragonCon posted on Flickr. I'm sure that probably irked those who purchased the jpeg's, but myself, I've always just purchased the 8x10, took it home, scanned it and made my own copies.
