What is an A.B.C Party?? Anything But Clothes. To gain entrance to this exclusive party come dressed in Anything But Clothes. Garbage Bag, Duct Tape, Police tape, Bumper stickers, Playing Cards, Bandages, A Towel, A shower curtain.

It does not matter as long as it is NOT clothing. What can you cover (or not cover) your naughty bits with and still make it to the party? Creativity and last minute planning is highly encouraged. Wrap yourself in some cardboard and come on over.

This party has grown exponentially every year and this year we are planning our biggest and best A.B.C. Party yet. Last year over 500 people tried to get into this party. Lines were long and the rooms were crowded. This year we have secured one of the largest Suites at the Hyatt for this party. More Room, More Party!!

From 9-10 This party is for VIP`s Only.

From 10 till 12 this is an "ABC" party. You must be in an "ABC" outfit to get in.

From 12 on - Open to all. No ABC outfit required however the room WILL fill up and people in ABC outfits will be given priority entrance over those not.

CON-Voluted will be providing a DJ and Free Booze.

CON*tourage would like to thank EVERYONE who came out and partied with us at all of our Dragon*Con 2010 shindigs. We had a great time, saw lots of old friends and made many more new ones.

If you happened to find your way to our MEET & GREET, HEAVY METAL PARTY, HERO VS VILLAIN PARTY or PANCAKE CHOWDOWN, odds are HIGH you were photo'd.  Plus we snapped LOTS of photos of killer costumes while out-and-about roaming the Dragon*Con festivities so even if you didn't attend our parties, we may have snapped a photo of you in all your costumed glory.

Dragon*Con 2010 was, by far, the best time CON*tourage has had since we founded our party group back in 2008.

We'd like to thank everyone who came out and partied their a$$es off at our HEAVY METAL PARTY II and HERO vs VILLAIN PARTY on Friday & Saturday nights. Other than a few bad drunken apples (who liked throwing things off of balconies and stealing decorations) it was a good time for all.

Another BIG THANKS goes out to DJ Nemesis and DJ Spider who kept bodies moving and fists pumping at both late-night parties!

We also want to thank everyone who came out to our PANCAKE CHOWDOWN on Sunday, late-morning. Although we did have a short set-back via electrical breakers, thanks to hotel engineers we were back up and flipping flap jacks in no time at all. By our count, we had well over 100 Con-goers come get their carb load and make some new friends.

CON*tourage will be back, even stronger, next Dragon*Con and we hope that many of you can come party with us during our 2011 CON TOUR, which we'll be annoucing our CON*tourage Con Tour stops later in the year.

Our apologies for anyone who didn't get a PARTY PASS this year, stay tuned for how you can secure a Party Pass EARLY for Dragon*Con 2011!

I wanted to give a shoutout/thanks (again!) to the 2 ladies who helped my cousin out. She had cut her foot on the curtain thingies by the stage during the Time Traveler's Ball and was bleeding badly. Since I am funny around blood, I was sent out to find first aid...still looking for the "woman with the black parasol" as instructed by a DragonCon volunteer... Luckily, these ladies came around and helped her stop the bleeding and dress her up when after 1/2 hour the security dude at the Westin showed up with a first aid kit. If anyone knows who these wonderfully ladies were, please let me know. Thanks!

p.s. better security and hotel presence needed at Westin...shouldn't have took a 1/2 hour to find official help.

Hi folks,

I'm a long time nerd (I have a huge comic collection), but I've never been to a Con. I'm thinking of making DragonCon this year my first. I'm actually getting married on labor day, so there will be a bunch of people in town visiting, and I was thinking of having some people accompany me to DragonCon on Saturday afternoon/evening. However, I'm having a really hard time figuring what's actually going on at any given time. Is there a comprehensive schedule of the events going on each day and at what times?

Basically what I'm trying to figure out is if it'd really be worth it for us to go at around 5pm just for the evening. Does the Con pick up or die down in the evening? What sorts of things would be going on? Is it worth the $50 if i'm not getting there until late in the day?

Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi Everyone,

The Space Track tentative schedule is now available. Remember I say tentative because until confirmed by Con Programming it could still change. : - )

We have our live Solar Astronomy back again this year with Stephen Ramsden and his telescopes and our fabulous nighttime Live Astronomy with Dr. William Keel. This year Live Astronomy is going some place we've never been before - The Southern Hemisphere!! We will be using a telescope out of Chile and the chances of having weather related issues are almost nil. : - ) From the Southern Hemisphere we can see: Andromeda Galaxy, Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, the Southern Cross, and so much more!

We will be covering the changes to the US Space Program from every angle. We are doing a fun panel of Space Trivia. We'll be taking a further look behind the scenes at JPL with 5 JPL scientists this year.

Two panels that are sure to be a big hit.
- 'The Mystery of Hanny's Voorwerp' on Friday at 10pm is the World Release of a new web based graphic novel about a Dutch school teacher's discovery of an astronomical phenomenon that had never been seen before. The first Hubble pictures of the 'Voorwerp' will also be shown.

- 'James Marsters: Astronaut – The Story of Apollo 11' on Saturday at 7:00pm. Yes, the Space Track welcomes James Marsters to discuss his role as Buzz Aldrin in the made for TV movie 'MoonShot'. This movie was done as part of last year's 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission. Marsters was fabulous as Living Legend astronaut and second man to walk on the Moon, Buzz Aldrin.

PLEASE NOTE - The Marsters panel will be completely devoted to MoonShot and Marsters role in that movie. All questions must be related to that topic and will be screened. This is STILL the Space Track and that's the focus of this panel. We hope to see you all there and suggest that anyone interested in asking a question of James Marsters should rent 'MoonShot' in preparation.

Dressing Up for Showing it Off
Burlesque and Vintage Costuming Panel at 7 pm, Friday 4th in M103–105.

Dragon*Con Cabaret
Come see Big City Burlesque & Vaudeville at the Dragon*Con Cabaret with Stormy Knight, Scarlett Letter, Cherry Pitx, Jahara Phoenix and more at Midnight, Saturday, 5th at the Hyatt International Ballroom. Be sure to arrive early for the line. The Fire Marshall turned people away last year.

BCB&V and Guests Merch at the Marriott
I'm not exactly sure where, but we're excited about the change of location. I'm hoping we'll have more traffic. We are selling lots of stockings (fishnets, seamed, etc.), burlesque aprons and BCB&V T-shrits. We'll also be auctioning an autographed, multi-photo frame with photos of the girls in their pink ribbons for breast cancer. I am selling three beautiful jewelry pieces (rhinestone/crystal necklaces with matching earrings) and opera length gloves (I think they're 16" to 18" – I looked at the packaging this morning, but I cannot remember now). I'm not sure what else the other girls are bringing. I hear New Orleans Jon has even made his own merch – what he's bringing is a surprise to you and me. We'll have plenty of goods for you to rifle :D
