Hey everyone.

By now, prob most everyone still about has heard of the recent updating with the LJ TOS, which I wont rehash here.

I dont believe there will be any effect on us directly; to me, its more symbolic of Livejournal's ongoing fadeout and a major step in that direction.

The community will keep on going as usual as its been in recent times.

I've opened and bulit an archival account of my own LJ at DreamWidth and would encourge everyone else to archive their own LJ as they see fit.

I'll be archiving the dragoncon community over there as well. Since there is already a Dragoncon community under the auspices of longtime community member greenwitch over at DW, there will be a different name for the community archive and it will be strictly an archive of this community which I will reimport regularly especially around and after con.

Staying open as long as we can, but taking precautions for what I fear is the oncoming day that it cant stay open.

EDIT: Dream Width archive community name is dragoncon_lj_archive. For now since its mainly an archive, not going to worry about look and design over there for right now.

Have started to trim down the mod queue; if you have a pending entry that belongs under one of the master posts, it will be rejected. Thank yous from tracks and event hosts have been let through along with the occasional one that warrants its own special attention(my which recent one could that be).

So how's everyone liking the new Post Con Control Mode so far?

Adding another master post for photo and photo requests.

DO NOT REPEAT postings from the first master post. If even just one is discovered, this entire master post and all comments therein will be yanked and no more extra master posts will be made!

Post anything that does not fit under the other master posts here. Please remember that a moratorium on For Sale Postings is now in effect. Such posts will be yanked from comments. If abuse becomes a problem this master post will be removed.

Miscellany!:

My first mention of the big reminder:

Georgia prohibits all retail alcohol sales on Sunday, including beer and wine! Bars and restaurants can serve on Sunday but they must close down at midnight. If you have Sunday booze plans, get your stuff early and plan accordingly.
