Thanks to Dragon*Con and to All Of You

I want to publicly thank Robby Hilliard in particular, Regina Kirby, Pat Henry, Heather and Susan, Kat Hibpshman, Emerald Rose, the other sound guys, the security station at the Marriott, and everybody else involved with my five sets at this year's Dragon*Con. Everybody was incredible, and Robby, the head of the Filk Track, was beyond incredible, closing in on godlike. I had a marvelous time, I think my shows all kicked ass, I had great sound, and everything pretty much worked as advertised.

And, thanks to all of you who attended my shows. I hope you liked 'em -- a lot of you certainly seemed to -- and I hope to see you all again next year.

I have a girlfriend who attended this as her first DragonCon. She came with me to the awards banquet. And we almost had to pick her up off of the floor during your first song because she actually runs a computer service company in a small backwater town in the middle of nowhere, Kansas. She would like very much to get some of your CDs. So, do you have a website?

We had a fabulous time, your performance rocked, and all of the Filk programming we caught was wonderful fun. I think the Filk track is really going in a good direction, so kudos to Robby for all his work. I said this to Robby, but I'll mention it here as well - if there's anything we Filk fans can do to make the track better, please let us know.

Wow! Tom you are embarrassing me! But thank you very much for your words. Your participation in our track this year was very very important to us and we are very proud to have put on a good show for you and the fans. I believe that if we stay focused we can keep this thing moving in a positive direction!
