This year the university of Tennessee will be playing during con. Some not all of their fans are the most backwards intolerant rednecks on earth. Please be careful around them and take care of your fellow con goers.

I ordered my membership way later this year than I did last year. As in, last time I ordered in February; this year I ordered during the last week of June. Last year I remember receiving a postcard confirming my registration; I haven't gotten anything yet this year. Is there a time frame I can expect for delivery of the card? Or, since I ordered so much later, do I even get a postcard?

I've been trying to find the answers in the store FAQ, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I've been following this community practically since I got home from the con last year, though, and it seems like y'all know the answer to just about any question that could possibly get put up here. Can anyone help me out?

Edit: OK, I've got two confirmed sales. Sorry to everybody who emailed me late, but these passes are SOLD.

My fiancee and I are reluctantly selling our dragoncon tickets...we have to save money for the wedding. We'll be back next year!! We bought these for $60 each, so that's what we're selling them for. But you'll have to pay a $20 transfer fee to dragoncon. I'll edit this post when they are sold.

Food!

The list of restaurants around the convention is pretty easy to find at this point, but I'd love to get some input from my fellow con-goers as to some of the finer points of dining. In particular:

1.) What are *your* favorite places for late-night grub (Late is relative here...Let's sayyyyyy after 1 AM)

2.) Regardless of the time of day, what are the dishes you really enjoy, or recommend other people try? I'm sure there are some who don't stray too far from their comfort zone during mealtime at the con, since they don't want to waste their food budget on a bad meal. But this is a good time as any to be a little different!

I, for starters, would recommend anybody that's not had a chance to grab a strawberry shortcake from Ted's Montana grill to do so!

Bring a friend though, as it's quite a task for one person.

Here's the link to the general con and D*C tips that I update and re-post every year:

(The second list, of suggestions made, will be updated and posted asap.)

As always, please feel free to reply with more helpful tips. :)
