I'm putting together the panel information now but I think the times are fairly set at this point: Friday at 10 AM and Saturday at 1 PM. Jason Hawes stated on his Twitter page that Jason, Grant, Steve, Dave Tango, Dustin and Joe  etc were all coming to Dragon Con this year, I didnt see anyone but Jason and Grant confirmed on the official Dragon Con site. Just wondering if anyone had info.

I know that some people carry contact/business cards during cons. My question is, for those of you who do, what is your reason for carrying them and what type of information do you put on them?

I heard that there was a White Violin roaming around the Con last year-- does anyone know if she's coming back? Or is anyone else doing a costume based on The Umbrella Academy?

I'm going to be dressing up as The Rumor (on Saturday night, maybe?) and I'd love to get a picture or two if anyone else is doing something from the comic!

Good news, everyone!

Dragon*Con has given us their blessing! We are now an official Dragon*Con event with a set time and place!!! They are excited to have us as a part of the convention and they are gearing up for it to be one of the bigger events of D*Con 2009.

Not only that, but the website is READY! All of the details, rules, and information are there. HTTP://www.DragonConThriller.com/

If you want to participate, you MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST go to the official website, join the forum, and SIGN UP to participate! For any other event, we wouldn't be such nazis, but because Guinness and world records are involved, numbers are IMPORTANT.

A Font Favor

Hail and well met, my fellow nerds/geeks/whathaveyous!

My husband and I are toying with the idea of doing some leather wallhangings for D*C this year, to go with our Firefly/Serenity Ship wallhanging. What I'd like from you loverly folk is to find out if anyone either has, or knows of, the fonts used for the title sequences of both Stargate and BSG. (I can always trace them off of a blown-up .jpg.) I've got some good ship pictures, of the Daedalus and Vipers, but am having the devil of a time finding the correct (or as close as possible) fonts!

Any help would be most appreciated. :-)

Does anyone have photos or video from DragonCon 1993 ?

I was a special guest that year and performed with Club Fetish on stage, the same night as Die Screamin' Lederhosen (the band from Ren & Stimpy).
We had a DJ that looked like Pinhead from Hellraiser.

I was wearing a very skimpy black patent bra and thong harness type outfit and walked around con in addition to performing. A lot of people were following me around with cameras and videocams.

I'd really like to track down footage and google gets me nowhere
