Hey guys! Almost time :)

I was wondering if anyone knew approximately how much Patrick Stewart will charge for pictures. Or if you don't know, how much did the other cast members of TNG charge?

My one certain goal this year is a picture with the awesome man :P

Thanks!

Edit: Does anyone know if PS does non-professional pictures for a lower price? I just don't know if I can do $200. The only reason I get to go is because I live on campus at GT and don't have to do the hotel thing. I don't mind just having a picture on my crappy digital camera or anything!

Froggy's Photos already has online presales going (here (http://www.froggysphotos.com/dragonpresales.html)). PS is $200, for 2 prints and a digital copy.

Which is expensive but I see this as a once in a lifetime opportunity. I haven't decided yet if I'm going for it but it is very tempting ...

My sister and I will probably do it together and split the cost. They're allowing 2 adults in each picture. :)

I just LOVE Patrick, but just can't see myself paying $200 for a pic with him. That just hurts the wallet TOO much!! I have autographs by Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden, John De Lancie, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, Mirina Sirtis and they all ran around $20-30 for each of them. I think that PS may be a bit more (I'm thinkin around $60-$75). Good luck with the picture with Patrick!!

I'm guessing at least $60 for an autograph, since Leonard tends to be $65. Could be more. :P

They really know how to hurt a gal's wallet.... But I never got Leonard's back in '92 at Vulkon Orlando.... Hope I can get one this time...

Wonder if Patrick will personalize. I have one of his I got at a charity auction about 10 years ago...

See, that makes me a little sad. The nation is deep into a servere recession and that is the tole. I presume when you say pictures you mean professional pictures with the actor.
I'm just going to go for a few signed items. When I met Malcolm McDowell in Orlando, that was my opportunity of a lifetime and I spend a lot of money on items signed. So in a way, Malcolm is my Patrick. I can fully understand the significance, but the items the original Droog signed for me were no more than 25 a hit. I think it was 40 or 45 for a professional picture. I'm just shaking my head and those capitalising on this because they know what it is and what it means.

With how much he makes from the Froggy deal, I doubt he'll take any with people's individual cameras. I keep track on an autograph message board, and several reports from fans meeting PS after his plays say that he'll gladly sign things but refuses to take pictures with them.

More than likely you will pay to have a picture taken with him without your own camera. Eric Avari last year was 25 for a picture. In all honesty I don't think a professional picture is necessary. I got Neville Longbottom two years ago and it's somethign that I don't really look at very much. Certain celebrities only have the option of a professional picture, which is a bit of a bummer. It's business and it's sucky but it's still business.

I got a picture done with Malcolm, two actually, one in costume and one out. I spent around 300 dollars but I got all my films signed, several movie stills and two posters, one of which is rated X and now framed. That 300 though, like Patricks 200 I suppose, you can smoke it or drink it or restaurant it, or use it to have something to treasure for the rest of your life. When I think about it that way it somehow becomes easier to swallow.

I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who knows for sure they want to get a picture with him but wants to split it with another attendee. I'd like to get in touch with someone reliable (i.e. someone who regularly does photo ops at con) so we can each pay $100 instead. Thanks!

I now have 200 reasons why I won't be able to get my picture taken with Patrick Stewart :-(

I know this won't be any consellation but we don't know yet if there won't be a fee for a domestic picture which the agent (or another) can take for you. Hey, at least you will get to meet him and think of the time you won't have to spend in line for that picture.

Hey I've an idea.

Let's go to con and have items signed and professional pictures with Kate Mulgrew Patrick Stewart and Leonard Nimoy and a few others and then file for bankruptcy later.

Some of the stars, those who actually sit on the Walk of Fame and sign autographs, may let you or someone else take a pic while they are signing. You aren't exactly in the pic with their arm around you but at least you hae evidence you saw them in person, spoke with them and they signed a pic. Over the past couple of years, I've gotten pictures with James Marsters, the Phelps twins, Matthew Lewis, John deLancie, Johnathan Frakes, some of the Star Wars people. This consisted of me standing in front of them while they signed while my husband or daughter stood off to the side and took the picture with us both in it. Didn't cost me any more than the cost of the autograph. Of course, I asked the star first if it was acceptable and in some cases their handler said no way. Of course, if you catch many of them when the handler isn't there or the last evening, you can sometimes get them to come out from behind the table and take a pic with you. I have several of the stars from Lord of the Rings and Babylon 5 who readily came out from behind the table and took a pic with me. It doesn't hurt to ask. Personally I can't see paying 200 or even 100 to stand beside a star and get a pic. For some this might be the ultimate experience at a con. To each his own.

You know the more I think about it the more I have a bitter taste for 'the handler'. I think it's perfectly reasonable to do what you mentioned. Brad Dourif last year happily did pictures and charged nothing. There is making money and then there is good will to the fans. And lets face it, it begins contiunues and ends with the fans :)

Aaron Douglas hated the "no pics at the table" policy last year and let us both pose with him for one when we got his autograph... he's a very personable man and very funny in person. He wasn't backed up too much then... the next day we wandered by and he was in a lull so we got to chat with him for a bit...

I like celebs who remember that many of their fans don't make the same income they do, and who treat us with respect.
