Hey guys! Almost time :)

I was wondering if anyone knew approximately how much Patrick Stewart will charge for pictures. Or if you don't know, how much did the other cast members of TNG charge?

My one certain goal this year is a picture with the awesome man :P

Thanks!

Edit: Does anyone know if PS does non-professional pictures for a lower price? I just don't know if I can do $200. The only reason I get to go is because I live on campus at GT and don't have to do the hotel thing. I don't mind just having a picture on my crappy digital camera or anything!

Froggy's Photos already has online presales going (here (http://www.froggysphotos.com/dragonpresales.html)). PS is $200, for 2 prints and a digital copy.

I just LOVE Patrick, but just can't see myself paying $200 for a pic with him. That just hurts the wallet TOO much!! I have autographs by Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden, John De Lancie, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, Mirina Sirtis and they all ran around $20-30 for each of them. I think that PS may be a bit more (I'm thinkin around $60-$75). Good luck with the picture with Patrick!!

See, that makes me a little sad. The nation is deep into a servere recession and that is the tole. I presume when you say pictures you mean professional pictures with the actor.
I'm just going to go for a few signed items. When I met Malcolm McDowell in Orlando, that was my opportunity of a lifetime and I spend a lot of money on items signed. So in a way, Malcolm is my Patrick. I can fully understand the significance, but the items the original Droog signed for me were no more than 25 a hit. I think it was 40 or 45 for a professional picture. I'm just shaking my head and those capitalising on this because they know what it is and what it means.

I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who knows for sure they want to get a picture with him but wants to split it with another attendee. I'd like to get in touch with someone reliable (i.e. someone who regularly does photo ops at con) so we can each pay $100 instead. Thanks!

I now have 200 reasons why I won't be able to get my picture taken with Patrick Stewart :-(

Hey I've an idea.

Let's go to con and have items signed and professional pictures with Kate Mulgrew Patrick Stewart and Leonard Nimoy and a few others and then file for bankruptcy later.

Some of the stars, those who actually sit on the Walk of Fame and sign autographs, may let you or someone else take a pic while they are signing. You aren't exactly in the pic with their arm around you but at least you hae evidence you saw them in person, spoke with them and they signed a pic. Over the past couple of years, I've gotten pictures with James Marsters, the Phelps twins, Matthew Lewis, John deLancie, Johnathan Frakes, some of the Star Wars people. This consisted of me standing in front of them while they signed while my husband or daughter stood off to the side and took the picture with us both in it. Didn't cost me any more than the cost of the autograph. Of course, I asked the star first if it was acceptable and in some cases their handler said no way. Of course, if you catch many of them when the handler isn't there or the last evening, you can sometimes get them to come out from behind the table and take a pic with you. I have several of the stars from Lord of the Rings and Babylon 5 who readily came out from behind the table and took a pic with me. It doesn't hurt to ask. Personally I can't see paying 200 or even 100 to stand beside a star and get a pic. For some this might be the ultimate experience at a con. To each his own.
