I know, it's far, but I could only find one burger-joint and the Varsity is kind of an icon.

There's a burger place/pub called Max Lagers a couple of blocks north of the Hyatt on Peachtree Street.

Also, for a nice (though some may think "spendy") dinner there is a Fires of Brazil across Peachtree Street from the Hard Rock. It's a Brazilian meat-on-a-skewer place where the waiters roam around with different meats on yard long spikes -- all you can eat.

Brazilian! I was looking for a Brazilian place to include and couldn't find one! You rock! And I'll throw Max Lagers in, too. Someone else mentioned it and I forgot.

Now that I dig it up, I already have that one. It's Jalapeño Charlie's. That's good to know, though. I found it listed under "Mexican food" but I'll relist it.

Actually...they're two different places in the same "spot". Fires of Brazil is downstairs on the ground floor - Jalapeno Charlies is upstairs.

The space used to be Planet Hollywood, which had two levels to it.

Ahh, okay. I remember Planet Hollywood being there now. I'll leave both listings then. Glad I got one for Brazilian. Too bad I couldn't find a Greek restaurant.

Unless they've changed the menu (I was last there 3-4 years ago) Metro Cafe (below) has some pretty good Greek food (and Italian food, and American food, and British food, and... ALL THE FOOD, really.)

Sounds like Landmark Diner. They're not the same place, are they? One block down and around the corner from the Hyatt if you go out the front door? Landmark has a Greek/Italian/American menu and is also 24-hour.
