I got checked repeatedly (and a blue ribbon, of course). Then again, I was passing out booze to every attractive woman I could find, so that may have helped

I unfortunately did not make the Official Kilt Inspection meeting mixer.
Which means I did not have my official KI button...and thus no inspection happened.

...hmm, something to consider. I believe that I will take that FORAC next year. As soon as I get the permission, I will get a representative party picture up.

In any event, yes, checks occurred, leaves were blown, snowflakes compared and other tomfoolery and skullduggery ensued. If you didn't get checked, you must have been frowning or walking around with your mom.

Of course, being at the inaugural Kilts and Corsets party helped a lot. Next year is going to be #2, and we will double the square footage. We are trying to figure out how to avoid what happened to other Hyatt room parties (shut down, or otherwise hassled).
