Please pardon me if I've been totally oblivious to this at the Con, but I just got the Dec Wired and there is an 8 page article about the fan project Star Trek New Voyages. Have these episodes (3 or 4 so far) been shown at the Con?

These guys apparently have the blessings of Paramount as long as they don't make money, so all the episodes are free to download at the New Voyages website.

Walter Koenig is in the latest one! How cool is that?

If this is totally old news, sorry. It's new to me, so I figure it's probably new to someone else, too.

:-)

Dragon*ConTV has run these videos on the in-house hotel channels before. They're great shows ... very well written, excellent costuming, authentic sets, good acting and CGI that fits the style of the original series. Having actors & writers from the original show make it even more authentic.

I hope Jack Marshall gets to be a guest at Dragon*Con sometime. We have exchanged e-mails and he seems like an interesting guy.

You can look up the TrekTrak's director e-mail on the dragoncon.org website. Tell him you want Jack as a guest and it might happen (the sooner the better).

BTW, clips from Sorbo, Sirtis & others will be part of the Dragon*Con 2005 DVD. The DVD is in editing now, due out at the end of the year.
