Only one I know about for sure is that the Hyatt posted on their facebook this morning that their bookings would open on October 16th at 10am.

Westin and Sheraton have opened and are very close if not completely filled up.

Hilton accidentally sold some rooms at con rate today but they don't officially open reservations until the 9th.

Hyatt opens the 16th.

No word yet on the Marriott (that I've seen) but I would expect them to stick with their usual October 1st date.

The con block at the Sheraton is sold out. I'm not sure if there are additional rooms coming or if it represents the entire con block. Rooms are still available at the rack rate. You may be able to get a reservation at the rack rate converted to the con rate by calling the hotel directly.

I have a rack rate reservation ($400/night) at the Westin for next year. Hopefully I can still convert it to the con rate tomorrow morning by calling.

Just curious; how do you know the Hilton goes on sale on the 9th? When I checked out, they said they would email me the date sometime this week, but I haven't heard from them yet.

Westin told me on MOnday they are NOT taking reservations for DragonCon 2014 yet, and won't until next week. I have not checked yesterday or today to see if that changed. My informationw was from the front desk at the Westin, who got it from their hotel manager who is co-ordinating things.

Try someone else. I actually had a rack rate reservation for 2014 done in late July and called to convert it to the dragoncon rate today and they did it - I have a confirmation email and everything.

I called the Sheraton Tuesday to get a room. They were sold out so they tried to sell me $400 room for the Westin. I told them I was so impressed during my stay at the Sheraton this year and had been looking forward to staying with them again at Con Rate. She checked the Westin again and got me all Labor Day weekend 2014 for $211 plus tax per night....

Author Ann Crispin has died (http://boingboing.net/2013/09/06/rip-ann-ac-crispin.html). She's been a guest at multiple Dragon Cons, possibly first in 2000, and maybe last in 2011. She often ran a Writer's Workshop.

In the madness that is DragonCon, I tried to note all the money I was spending. I was pretty good, but I missed some things. If anyone can help me with the prices of these autographs and table photos, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Lara Parker and Kathryn Leigh Scott - I think it was $30 for both autographs which included a photo with both of them.
Julian Sands - I think he was $40 which included a photo with him.
Sylvester McCoy - I think he was $40 which included a photo with him.
Silas Weir Mitchell - I think his autograph price included a photo with him, but I don't know what it was.

Photo at their table price? I think these were all $10.
