Pop Culture Caps by alternativeXchange will once again be vending at DragonCon. We'll have a great assortment of various charms of pop culture icons available, but here's your chance to ask for the obscure ones. Want a specific character? Let us know and we'll try to have one in time for the show. We can usually fulfill most requests; however, all items are made with original images so there has to be something out there that can be cannibalized (cards, stickers, magazine clippings, etc).

Any chance for a Spike (Cowboy Bebop) or Nuriko (Fushigi Yuugi) one? I know printed stuff is kinda hard to find for either now, but maybe print something from a website? Haha. <3

I've actually got an entire Cowboy Bebop tray with about 15 to 20 Spikes for you to browse (managed to find lots of episode guides that were perfect to cannibalize). And, just ordered some Fushigi Yuugi playing cards (crossing fingers that they arrive in time). I prefer to toe the legal line and not jack images from the net, plus printed ones tend to not look as shiny and pretty as when you use all original source materials.

Probably should have put a little more info up top. This is our 3rd year with charms at Dragon (used to sell CDs & DVDs).

This year, we've greatly expanded and will have a little over 3,000 different designs with us. I'm entirely too organized for my own good and they are all divided out into separate trays (each holding 50 - 100 designs).

So far there are the following trays: 2 Doctor Who/Torchwood, Buffy/Angel, Firefly/Serenity, True Blood, Star Trek, 3 Misc TV (Vampire Diaries, Game of Thrones, Munsters, Dexter, etc), 3 Misc Movies (anything goes random assortment), Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Avengers (get there early if you want a Loki as I've only made about 20 or so), Bettie Page & other pinups, 3 Anime (various characters from Death Note, Black Butler, Hetalia, Soul Eater, Vampire Knight, etc), Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, 3 or 4 various animated (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Adventure Time, My Little Pony, etc), Hello Kitty, Music Related and I'm sure TONS of others I'm forgetting but you get the gist.

For the first time I *kind of* have to increase my pricing due to raising fees for supplies & CC processing, so they are 1 for $6 or 2 or more for $5 each (same price as previous years if you get more than 1).

Each charm includes your choice of: a 24" ball chain necklaces or 18"-20" black ribbon chokers as necklace choices, a 6" ball chain length to convert it to a key chain or zipper pull, or we can change it into a magnet.

Getting terribly excited for Con. See you there!

Pretty sure I have a few of Mark Sheppard as Crowley from Supernatural and as Badger from Firefly. Let me know if you'd like me to delete that one and bring it with me. At the show it would just be the $6 for the 1 or drop to $5 if you find more than 1 you like. :)

Will have to do a little digging for Robert Carlysle. Looking for one of him from anything particular? Think I *might* still have one that is of the cover of one of the SGU DVDs that has him in the center.

No worries doll! I am completely aware of the side tracking that occurs pre-Dragon. I'm already packed up but do remember seeing some close-ups of him in the Supernatural tray. I'll move them to the 2nd layer of the tray so they're hidden for a bit once we open Friday.

If you happen to ever come across stuff from Durarara!! to use for any, I'd buy those. :D Haha. I'll have to bookmark your store!
