question on Peachtree Center elevators up from MARTA

I have been to D*C twice and both times have had to use everyone's favorite escalator of doom up from the MARTA to Peachtree Center...I will not be able to use it this year with all that i am bringing..how do i get to the stinking elevator to get up there? it was never at the same spot as the escalator...any help would be great!! thanks!!

I love that escalator! The elevator is about in the middle of the station platform, in what looks like a large pillar. We've used that, too...

I think they are asking about the elevator to get to the surface, not the one to get off the platform. Instead of making a right to get to the escalator of doom; you make a left. I do know that the elevator bring you up on the opposite side of the street than the escalator.

There is an elevator. My friend and I have to use it because she is in a wheel chair. It is off to the left [ I think.]. It brings you up on Peachtree Street on the other side of the street from the Hard Rock Cafe. If in doubt, ask a MARTA employee. I hope this helps you.

there are at least two. both come up about a block from the weston. like griffindorgirl said, ask a MARTA employee, there's always one or two around. a word of warning, those elevators are very stuffy.

thx all..i think i have a better idea now..and i never usually see too many MARTA folks around when i need to ask..i will hunt them down if need be...

Also check the Peachtree Center Map on the live journal page. It shows you where you would come out if you used the elevator.
