The dragonCON Facebook page confirmed Ian Somerholder and Paul Wesley for signings Saturday and Sunday this year.  Well this is amazing news eh?  Do you think they will be doing a panel as well?  Also the Celebrity Authentics website said stay tuned for an announcement regarding...NINA DOBREV!  Wow right?

It's kind of strange that a website is sponsoring their appearances and having a pre sale. I know Stan Lee had a pre-sale, but people could still buy auto/photo tickets on site.

I think Dragon*Con pretty much makes everyone do a panel too. There's been bigger sci-fi names that have attended that weren't exempt from it.

It worries me a bit with how they are doing it. My girlfriend has been bouncing off the walls since Ian Somerhalder was announced and more than anything I want to get her the autograph but it seems really shady what they are doing.

nina will be pre signing some pics so that paul and ian can add there autographs to the pic at the show so you can have all 3 core cast signatures on one photo..nina can't make it..pretty sure it will be expensive..kinda like they did when brandon routh came and they had kate bosworth presigned pics for 75 bucks and then it was another 50 for brandon to sign.

Has anyone purchased anything from Celebrity Authentics before? I went to there website to do a trial run so I could see what forms of payment were accepted, and when I tried to "proceed to payment", the computer gives me a warning page about their security certificate. As much as I want the opportunity to get their autographs, I don't want to end up with my credit card info all over the web or some weird computer virus. I did contact them to tell them about the issue, but I haven't heard anything back from them.

Joseph Morgan was just announced on FB by Celebrity Authentics.....will they all ONLY be doing the autograph and photo ops or will they (any of the three Ian, Paul or Joseph) be doing a panel?

I'm going to be slightly ticked if no panel is involved, just saying.

Does anyone have a good guess or better yet actual info on how much this company will charge for the autographs? I'm wondering if they will ask more than the crazy cost of Nimoy and the like? Here's hope'n they don't!

They have posted prices for everyone, that has been announced prior to today, and it says all stars will be participating in panels.

I'm guessing from what I read that Celebrity Authentics has their own room outside of the Walk of Fame to get your autograph tickets. I really do not agree with this I think that if the star is their you should be able to get an autograph without buying a ticket prior to the event, but my girlfriend loves the show so I will be purchasing one.

We do have confirmation on panels!!

Yesterday when CA announced on Facebook that they were pushing the ticket purchase date back to the 15th for autographs/photo ops I asked if they were only doing those things or also doing panels and they said that they would all be doing panels too!!!

So right now we've got: Ian, Paul, Joseph, Michael and Kat announced and they pushed the date back waiting on contracts for other appearances!! I wonder who it'll be?

I hadn't planned on spending any extra on pics or autographs, but I might have to splurge for Joseph Morgan. I've met pretty much all the rest of the original principle cast back in the middle of the first season when they did that mall tour with Hot Topic. Only Nina, Ian and Paul did the rest of the tour, but for the ATL stop the whole principle cast showed up. It was awesome!

I would love to meet and get a photo op with Ian Somerhalder, as I've been a fan for years, but considering TVD's cast canceled literally the same day as their panels last year (leaving poor, poor Sarah Canning all by herself to do a panel for a nearly-empty audience) and this is the first year Paul and Ian are even bothering with DragonCon despite both of them NOT filming last year and Ian spending most of the weekend tweeting about partying and shopping at Best Buy instead, I'm a little leery about pre-purchasing anything from them. Don't want to be a negative nelly, but I think they're both a high cancellation risk.

I think since they are coming with Celebrity Authentics there will be a bit smaller chance of cancellation this year. Not that it is not possible, but perhaps lessens the chance. If they cancel won't they refund your money for autographs and pics?

I'm not sure what the refund policy is. I know that one photographer- I want to say Froggy, but I'm not 100% sure- won't refund your money if the star cancels past a certain date, but will only give you a credit to use on another star. My concern is that this might work the same way. Guess we have to read the fine print :)
