Leather Lanyards and Stuff...

Hello, all!

Well, this summer I didn't get to post my usual update about ordering lanyards from us for D*C. The husband is in the middle of a complete rebuild of our website, and both his comp & monitor died on the same day. It's just been one of those years. :-/

However, we will have lanyards for sale this year, in addition to some other very exciting leather pieces (and not-so-leather pieces) at the Southeastern Browncoats booth, Imperial Ballroom #s 1001, 1003 & 1005. The husband will also be making custom lanyards in the booth during dealer hours. If you ever wanted to know just how we do it, please stop by!

While there, get your picture taken with Bottle Bob. He's a leather skull bottle (proof of concept, really), that's been traveling with us for years. Bob will be wearing something very special this year, something we're calling the Super Secret D*C Project (no hints!). Browncoats of every stripe may want to stop by and see what he's up to.

So, that's my little update this summer. Oh, before I forget. Our lanyard list now includes sayings from The Guild (all the way up to the most current ep before D*C), and Warehouse 13 (Pete, Artie & Claudia are tied for the majority of best lines). The damn list is up to 33 freakin' pages. Why do the writers have to be so good??

2 weeks!!! (Commence freak out.)

The Buy Now link is NOT active on our website right now. As I mentioned, with hubby's comp dead, he hasn't been able to finish the coding needed. In addition, the list(s) that are on there are not complete (the whole comp debacle again).

Just want to mention that I have a selection of these lanyards, I buy a couple more every year and lend/give them to friends and EVERYONE just loves them! They're well made and a bargain at the price!

If you're thinking of getting one thing at Dragoncon, this would be the thing I would spend my money on. They're that good. (and no I am in absolutely no way associated with Legendary Leatherworks, just a VERY happy customer who wants to spread the good word.)

What is the average price for a lanyard? I've been wanting to get one and these seem fun and clever and such.

Lanyards are $10 each. Even with the crappy economy causing the price of leather to go up, we've managed to keep it the same price since we started.

We're also doing them a new way this year. No sense letting things get stale. :-)
