Pre-reg for kids

I've noticed that you need to show your ID at registration in order to pick up your badge.  What do you do if you are also buying passes for kids who are not old enough to have ID's? Do they require some other form of identification? Thanks for any info on pre-reg memberships for minors.

Licenses aren't the only form of IDs. Passports can be gotten at any age, as can state IDs.

My niece (who is now 13) has had a state ID for yeeeeears now.

I fly with my kid all the time (domestically), and no one has ever asked for ID for him. (I carry his passport, just in case someone ever does.)

I can't imagine the security there would be more stringent than that.

If you have your child's birth certificate, social security card and school ID, you can get a state-issued ID from the DMV. Only takes a few minutes (not counting the wait in line, of course.)

Last year I didn't have my ID on me, but they took my husband's word that I was his wife! So I don't really think they are all that strict about ID's as long as someone in your party has theirs. And especially for kids I wouldn't expect them to deny a badge for no govt. ID.
