Dragon*Con's Star Trek costume world attempt

This bit of news about the world record Star Trek costume attempt by Creation Entertainment in Vegas would seem to imply that Dragon*Con is the current Guinness World Record holder. It seems Creation just got their certificate for their brief time holding the record. Did I miss an official announcement from Dragon*Con about our attempt?

We will probably have to wait another month, as we didn't pay for the "rush fee". As you can see, if you don't pay GWR their blood money, they'll drag their feet.

I wouldn't be worried about them re-beating the D*C record either, I've been to that Vegas ST Con, and it's pretty dinky
