Thanks for the comments, everybody. It is nice to know I'm not alone. This year was my first dragoncon, and I had heard the horror stories about froggys. Unfortunately, most of the people I wanted pics with were with froggy. so, i ended up buying several.
after the process, i will definitely have to rethink this next year. through a series of unexpected events, we ended up being late to one of our photos. i didn't expect my money back, but i was hoping that i could change to a different photo. i mean, i did pay a large amount of money for a service i didn't get. of course, we weren't able to. i know this is their policy, but i still think it sucks. lol.
i don't think a newbie can fully understand the "froggy's experience" from just reading about it - i think you need to actually go through to understand how insane/rude/etc it is. ;)
i guess losing that original $40 makes me more annoyed i paid for a non-existent jpeg. anyway, i still have heard nothing from them. i guess i will have to start a weekly writing campaign like alex10819.
