You was in the actual dealers room.  They were selling really nice glass flasks.  There were nice plain glass rounds etc. but what I got was a glass flasks with a leather holder. Anyone know who I might be talking about???

By actual dealer's room do you mean the one all the way on the bottom floor? I saw a LOT of people selling glass flask type things this year, but I actually bought from one vendor so I know the name was Wizard's Wagon. They mentioned they have a facebook page but I haven't looked for it. Might give that a try and see if it's the vendor you're looking for.

I just checked this.

Do a google search for "Wizard's Wagon Facebook" (don't include the quotes). Follow the link to the facebook page, you don't need a facebook account to visit fan pages. Search the fanpage for address or other contact information and look at the photos posted to see if this looked like the booth you were looking for. They don't have any dragoncon photos up yet, but they have photos of the booth at other cons, can't be all that different.

Good Luck.

May also have been Crimson Chain. They were towards the back of the bottom floor Dealers' Room, right where the aisles get shorter. I got my round glass flask (with leather straps around it) from them at the GA Renaissance Festival, but they had them at D*C, too. They also had leather tunics/bodices, goggles, dust-mask type masks made of leather, gauntlets, and some larger glass flasks shaped like elongated canteens with long necks, among other items.

You are looking for Crimson Chain more than likely so you'd want to talk to Virgil, Kitt, or Gary I believe.

Those are the best links I can find.

My husband makes those for our local RenFaire, although we don't sell them in Atlanta. He'd be happy to make one for you. Feel free to shoot me an email, info @ legendaryleatherworks.com

We can discuss the color of the leather straps, and if you'd prefer a clear bottle, or one that's colored (both the red and blue ones sell fast at Faire). Ours have a cork in them (some others do a more permanent topper). :-D
