Ok, if you've got some feedback for the MMO guys, here's a good place to let us know about it. I am a firm believer in "There is always something we can do to be better", so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, and now I'm going to sleep for a week.

Date: 2010-09-12 02:25 am (UTC)There were a lot of really good ideas thrown around at the track ending get together, and I know you'll explore every one of those you can - I know it because you did it this year, and it showed.
So really - keep doing what you've been doing, and keep making things even more awesome.
And I'll see about actually not having major life emergencies right in the middle of when I should be getting things together for helping you guys out this year.
Much love to you, and all of your staff, from a con crud besieged strixus.

Date: 2010-09-12 05:44 pm (UTC)THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH for your help with the Kingdom of Loathing Party and also with the Kingdom of Loathing Panel (including the last-minute time changes!). Neither would have happened without you.
All the volunteers who were there for the KoL party really made a huge difference in getting the room ready, keeping inebriated people on the level (physically and otherwise), dealing with the Sheraton security people, and preparing the food, drinks and media. A special shoutout to IAN, THE MAN, who now for 2 years in a row has volunteered to take on the unenviable position of being doorman and turning away people (not to mention D*C crashers) without proof of age or proper badges. Ian fucking rocks and our parties wouldn't have happened without his help in particular.
Really no suggestions for the staff this year, sorry I couldn't make it to coffee! All my interactions with MMO volunteers this year were 100% helpful.
Thanks everyone!
