I'm working on addresses for those of you who want to write complaint letters, emails, or place phone calls. I'll continue looking up addresses (for UNC and Hyatt specifically), but I wanted to get the info out there. Feel free to add more addresses/contact info, or sample letters in the comments.

Thanks! The chancellor was easy to find, and my husband was calling me for dinner, so finding Baddour had to wait. (I put "athletic director" into the search box and it wasn't helpful, and neither was "director of athletics.")

Wow, what did Chick-fil-A do?

Also, I would really be careful about blasting LSU. Do you know for SURE that incidents were started by LSU people or is it easy to blame the footballers? Not saying they are innocent but . . .

Chick-fil-a is the main sponsor of the football game. If they are putting on an event they'd presumably want to know if attendees are making that event look bad.

Several reports have been "perps in football shirts." I suppose nefarious types could have donned jerseys in attempts to smear the good name of drunk fratboys everywhere....

Duh on Chick-fil-A I thought maybe people were really pissed off about the food court . . .LOL

Okie, I just have read a lot of people saying "People with out badges" So lets not just assume everyone with out a badge, everyone in street clothes was an LSU fan.

I guess that would be the politically incorrect costume for 2011 . . .to show up dressed as an LSU fan?

I saw two incidents with guys that were wearing purple t-shirts and polo shirts with LSU on them. So that's two, though one wouldn't be classified as an assault, they we picking on a kid in poorly made costume.

hate to say it, but ALL of the asshole-ish thing I saw done this year by people without badges were all done by people decked out in LSU gear. Anecdotal, I know, but there you are.

Apparently they were sponsoring the main football game going on.

I saw specific incidences involving commercially-sold shirts in purple with yellow trim, sometimes referring to the costumed people as "tiger bait". Pretty sure those were LSU fans.

Chik-fil-A is the Sponsor but they don't run the Game. From a report about the 2012 match-up, the person in charge is Gary Stokan, Chick-fil-A Bowl president and CEO. All the Contact Addresses are the same on the Chick-fil-A Bowl site, so based on this I would add:

Gary Stokan, Chick-fil-A Bowl president and CEO
235 Andrew Young International Blvd NW
Atlanta, GA 30303

FYI, UNC is in the midst of an academic football scandal right now and the faculty senate had a big meeting about it today so I don't know how successful contacting the University will be. You might also try contacting the main athletic, alumni group, The Rams Club:

Although I admit I didn't see many UNC jerseys the whole weekend. I looked for them because I proudly graduated from UNC.

there were a LOT of unsung heroes who replace toilet paper..emptied trash...filled ice water...did TONS of laundry of towels etc and dealt with being ignored the whole time.

I complained to the Westin because they ran OUT of TP...but I also sent thanks to Hyatt and Marriott for NOT running out.

If you are going to complain about the bad...don't forget it is equally if not more important to compliment the good.

thank you.

This is very important I think. I don't want these hardworking people to think we are ungrateful!

I like that too. I'm know the reason that they like having us at their hotels every year is because we bring in millions of dollars to them in one weekend. We need to show them that we also appreciate the efforts that they do put in for us in return.
