I tell you what. I'll make you a deal. If you buy the permit that is required to film on public streets in the city I'll think about doing it. Although the actor in the Fett costume doesn't have very good visibility through that helmet and I'm uncomfortable letting him drive my antique corvette in downtown... where there's people... and other cars...
Excellent idea, however there are two problems... We now would have to pay for a soundstage with a big enough green screen, and we'd still have to pay for the filming permit to film the background plate of the city we could then matte in...
Well, now we have to buy a copy of Maya (more than a thousand bucks) oh... and send someone to school so we actually know how to use it... (a couple of thousand more)...
Not to mention you're talking about an hour of work for every second of rendered video...
