I am pleased to announce the 2010 programming schedule for The Whedon Universe Track at Dragon*Con!  Remember that all events are tentative and subject up to and including at Dragon*Con.

A question about the 2 Picture Shows. What if we only want to see one of them? Will the doors open during intermission to let people out/in?

What about clearing the room between shows? We barely made it in for Dr. Horrible, and we had gotten there early.

There is 1 Showing of Buffy Horror and 1 showing of Dr Horrible with an hour long feature in between. After the room is filled for the first show the doors will be open to those that come and go until the last performance.

Which is when? Do you know? I'd like to watch Dr. Horrible, but have no interest in Buffy and would like to plan accordingly.

The Buffy Performance will be first and will begin shortly after 7 PM and should end by 8PM. We will have an hour intermission from 8 to 9 in which we will provide some audience entertainment and then Dr. Horrible should begin at 9 PM or shortly thereafter. Sorry I can't be more precise than that but we do make sure everyone is seated before kicking off the performances and that can take a little time.

I just really didn't want to sit through an hour of Buffy in order to get to Dr. Horrible. I think I'll take my chances with not getting in for Dr. Horrible at nine rather than get there early for Buffy. Thanks again!

The Sheraton was FREEZING last year. I made it through Once More With Feeling, but had to leave before Dr Horrible was over because frostbite was setting in. I had a jacket too! I saw one person wrapped in a hotel table cloth. :-/

Anyway! Looking forward to the Buffy panels. :)

Looks like a fantastic lineup! I just had one disappointment, though... "Redemption" isn't shown till Monday - we're leaving Monday morning... I was SO looking forward to seeing that!!!

Will there be any other ways later to see it - web, buy the DVD, etc.?

Let me do some digging, but I'd guess you can buy the DVD at the con at times other than the viewing - though I'm not sure, as the BCR folks might want to wait until after the premiere, so to speak. You can preorder it here, though, at any time:

To my knowledge Browncoats Redemption will have a booth at the show all weekend and will be selling copies of the DVD

Clarification. We are not "selling" DVD's. DVD's are received as a gift for your donation to help five charities created or supported by the Big Damn Heroes. One of them, the Dyslexia Foundation, is Dragon*Con Whedon Track Guest Jewel Staite's chosen charity.

Wayne is right, we will have a booth at Dragon*Con where you can pick up copies of the DVD for donation beginning Friday.

Given the success of our panel last year and Wayne's interviewing of our cast during our rehearsals, I'm sure there's a very understandable reason why Browncoats: Redemption doesn't play a larger part in the Whedon track given this is the fifth anniversary of Serenity on the Big Screen. I have hopes, given he's stated that "Remember that all events are tentative and subject up to and including at Dragon*Con" Wayne will find a place for us if a slot comes open.
