When do they typically start announcing guests?

 I know everyone's preoccupied with the whole Marriott room reservation fiasco (good luck guys!) but I was just wondering when they start to announce guests.  I know it won't be for a long time, just curious.  I had a blast this year and decided to come next year too, and was miraculously able to get a Marriott reservation with no problems.  Thanks in advance!

Well, 'officially' the guest application just went up online on October 1st. I would say don't look for anything until after the beginning of the year. It's possible someone special could come through early and announcements did begin much sooner in 2009 than in previous years; but, I would still say wait for early 2010.

Typically they don't announce until the end of the year or rather don't update the guest list until they have a certain number of conformations from guests.

I am pretty sure we (being Peter David and me) will be there. We already told the PTB that we would be glad to come back.

I'm not sure there's a typically. :) I've been watching since 2007 and it could be anywhere from February of next year to mid-December of this year. ISTR that Alan Ruck, Kristy Swanson, and Barry Bostwick were announced REALLY early, but for the next few months, they primarily announced authors and artists (which led many of us to bemoan the lack of actors, and that just seems funny now).
