Our 2009 Blood Drive was a great success; with 2012 donors the drive resulted in over 2600 units being put into inventory. According to Life South this was the largest blood drive ever conducted at a convention!

We rock!

I donated, and got my friend too, also who hadn't in a long time. My husband normally would have but was on heavy antibiotics pre-surgery right after con.

Next donation will make 16 units or one gallon of blood for me :)

I'm all for giving blood, but I can't due to medical reasons.

Having said that, the guy who was 'hawking' in the Pulse area of the Marriott? I think I had to tell him 'no, I'm restricted' about twelve times on Sunday. Seriously, I didn't move from there for an hour, and he kept badgering the hell out of us. It got to the point where I was wanting to go get a sticker so he'd leave me the frak alone.
