Greetings all! I'm a noob and this is my first time going to D*C!
Still, I'm very excited. I've looked around at the posts and seen that several people trying to make a buck and wondering if i could do the same.

I work at a place that sells yummy (though a bit expensive!) chicken and I have crap tons of coupons that I was thinking of bringing and using as either bartering (can you do that?) or perhaps selling them at a fraction of the products price.

Is this frowned upon or anything?

Selling coupons is a thorny issue. Technically people are just charging for the service of obtaining, clipping and saving coupons. Coupons themselves have no cash value. This applies to manufacturers coupons but most store coupons have similar verbiage about no cash value and being non-transferable.

Are your coupons for free items? Hell, can I have some? :)

You will see a lot of professional panhandlers around the con. They aren't homeless, they do this as their job. Offer to go get them so food with your coupons. That's the best route. If someone is genuinely hungry they will be grateful. If they are hustling they will blow you off.
