Ride Sharing

this is a service that makes ride sharing easier. it uses Facebook profile to see if you and potential passengers/Drivers have any friends in common. they are mostly based on the west coast right now but the algorithms will work on this side of the mississippi. officially they are waiting for an invitation, (it took how long to get scanners and bar codes implemented) everyone is responsible for whos car they get in, and whom they let in their car. if you don't feel safe then say, "no."

Been getting a few for sale posts in the queue lately with graphics and videos outside a lj-cut or link.

Check some recent for sale posts(use the for sale tag) for some good examples on how to construct a for sale post that's short and sweet without being unduly intrusive on the community. They can provide templates on how to construct your own for sale posts.

Hotel room upgrades?

Does anyone have any experience with upgrading your hotel room reservation to a suite? Is this even something that the hotels do? And if so, are suites generally still available this close to the con?

And on a related note, does anyone know if the Sheraton even offers suites? I can't find anything on their website...I'm staying there at just a regular room, but I'd like something a bit larger if possible.
