DC Comics, as part of their current reboot, is publishing a new Catwoman book. The first issue concludes with Catwoman and Batman going at it hot and heavy. (And I don't mean in the fisticuffs sense.) Abhay Kholsa, one of the witty reviewers at savagecritic.com took DC to task for putting out this kind of thing. In passing, he included this remark:
"...this is a thing that happens in real life– since you know and I know that people have definitely, definitely, definitely dressed up in those costumes and had sex in the bathroom of comic conventions, at least Dragon*Con because that one’s in Hotlanta and the heat and the sweat and the Bat-a-rangs, it’s probably just like that movie Body Heat except ever so slightly more Batmanish…"
So, Dragon*Con's fame continues to spread! How does that old saying go? "There's no such thing as bad publicity." I know he's joking, but there's usually some truth behind humor. Is this really the rep that D*C has?
