Fox 5 Atlanta, CNN and other networks will be interviewing Galen Unhold and other Blood Drive organizers tomorrow morning.

We'd love to have costumed con-goers come hang out and show Atlanta, the US and possible the world, just how hard Dragon*Con rocks.

The interviews will be at the Sheraton Blood Drive room starting at 07h15. Yes, it's early, but it is for the morning news and TV shows!

We look forward to seeing you there!

PS - Don't forget to connect your wifi-capable phone, tablet or other device to the Dragon*Con Blood Drive wifi portal available ONLY at the Sheraton for tomorrow and the Marriott the rest of the weekend. Connect to http://192.168.0.100 and download tracks provided exclusively for us by musical artists!

The Kingdom of Loathing
An adventurer is you!

We got left out of the schedule grid in the printed pocket program (we were on the missing page), but we're still throwing a hell of a party!  Join all of your fellow Turtle Tamers, Seal Clubbers, Accordion Thieves, Disco Bandits, Saucerers and Pastamancers for some inebriation-fueled fun! We'll be hosting a themed party on Sunday night at 10 PM in the Sheraton's Savannah room! Show up on time to participate in the KoL costume contest to win fabulous prizes. They'll be awarded by the game's own creator, Jick! We'll have gaming groups, nerdy music, and some free sandwiches and soda for you there as well. If you're over the age of 21 then stick around after the contest for the FREE booze! We'll be serving punch and lemonade modeled after the adult beverages that you can concoct in the game.

You can also join us on Friday night at 5:30, also in the Sheraton's Savannah room, for a one hour Q&A with two of the developers from KoL's publisher, Asymmetric.  Jick (the game's creator) and HotStuff will be joining us to answer your questions and talk about their experience taking this game from hobby to career, and putting out the most hilarious content in MMO gaming.

Kingdom of Loathing will also have a fan table in the Hyatt, outside the Regency Ballrooms!  Stop by, say hello, and pick up some free swag!

Hey, all! Tom Smith here. As per usual, the musical entertainment at D*C is fast and furious. Okay, maybe relaxed and a little cranky but only because the hot tubs don't dispense beer. Or somethin'.

I'm one of the performers. No, no, not any of the metal bands. No, not the hot guys in kilts. No, definitely not Voltaire. I'm the fat old hippie, come to make you laugh and STEAL YOUR WIMMEN.

If you haven't heard my stuff before you can hear and download lots of it (including a few hours' worth of freebies) at http://www.tomsmithonline.com . And I'm doing a lot this weekend. All events are at the Hyatt:
  • Fri 11:30 a.m. - What Is Filk? (Baker)
  • Fri 1:00 p.m. - Meet and Greet (Baker)
  • Fri 7:00 p.m. - Filk Concert Extravaganza w/Brobdingnagian Bards and Leslie Fish! (Int'l N)
  • Fri 10:00 p.m. - Filk and Cookies (Baker)
  • Sat 7:00 p.m. - Awards Banquet concert (Regency VI-VII)
  • Sat 10:00 p.m. - Concert (Baker)
  • Sun 11:00 a.m. - Concert (Concourse)
  • Sun 10:00 p.m. - Concert w/Leslie Fish (Baker)
I've also got a musician's table at the Marriott, which I'll be at after 3:00 p.m. Friday ('cause of those two back-to-back panels).

I hope you all have a fantastic time this weekend, and if you get the chance, I hope you'll come listen!
