Well, I was only able to attend Dragon*con Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I was Raven in the Shiney Blue cloak and Sunday I was a demented Alice with a bloody white rabbit pelt and pocket watch. Anyway... I had fun but did anyone get my picture? I wish to see. :)

Back From Dragon*Con

I've just returned from Dragon*Con and decided to set up a Live Journal after sitting in on the "My So-Called LiveJournal (.com)" panel hosted by the Electronic Frontiers Forum.

I'm pretty tired right now after a grueling two days of walking around the Hyatt and Marriott Marquis hotels, but a great time was had by all, and the beer was good (they served Red Brick Ale).

At first, the bar tender tried to sell it to me for the "import" price, but I actually haggled with him by saying, "For a beer that's brewed in Atlanta?" So, he sold it to me for the domestic price. I was quite proud of myself. ;-)

hey everyone, great dragoncon, unfortunately me and my friends are trapped here in atlanta for another day due to hurricane frances, so any one else who also is stuck here in atlanta make a post and we'll see about doing an impromptu meet up somewhere round here.

I had the best time at Dragon*Con this year! I got to meet a ton of people, see friends I don't see a lot, and hang out with some of my best friends, all in one weekend. It's the first year I have really dressed up, and it was really fun having so many people come up to me and want to take my picture. And with that, I have a small request. On Saturday, I was the French maid. I didn't see any other ones wandering around, but I was the one with the vinyl maid costume and dark hair in side ponytails. Does anyone who took or has run across any pictures of me want to share? I would greatly appreciate it. :)

We need a larger room for the LJ panel. I made it in time last year to find a seat. Unlike many. But this year since I had a wheelchair there was no way I could have fit in there. We keep gaining more folks and if we can't have more space it going to be really bad next year.

Hi to everyone who made it to the LiveJournal Livemeetup. It wasn't huge but it happened and that All I wanted.So that to you lot for supporting that.

I know I prolly meet more LJ users just walking around. For any of you I didnt get to met, you prolly saw me walking around with "highlighter-yellow" hair.

Saturday I was carrying a bloody Cricket bat and wearing a bloody shirt and redtie as "Shaun" from Shaun of the Dead(only a handful of ppl got the costume - i totally heart those people)

Sunday I had facial cuts(mouth) and piercings from Kakihara from Ichi the Killer (Only like 18 ppl knew where the character was from and only like 2 ppl could name him - my geek vision is fufilled)

Everyone of you that I meet were the coolest people at the con and it was a pleasure meeting all of you.

Howdy from the Crazy 88's

I was one of the Crazy 88's that ran around the Con this year. Most of my crew has been to several other DragonCons, but this year was by far the most fun we have had. This was the first year we all went in costume and I think that had a lot to do with the fun we had. I can't wait until next year (and am already working on costume ideas).

Anyways, I wrote about my adventures in my personal live-journal and also posted some pictures too. Lemme know if any of y'all are in these pictures!

Did anyone see a red speckled 20 sided die with yellow lettering? I lost it somewhere in the Hyatt or Marriot, I had it when I arrived at the hotel on Thursday and couldn't find it by Monday? I did find my 4 sided die in my bottle of rum, how the hell did that get int there?
