First off...

Current Community Tags

Let me know of any community tags you might want to add in within reason(e.g. as broad topic as possible, absolutely no individual guest/performer ones).

More to come..

EDIT: Might consider individual track tags...no promises though...

Perhaps individual tags for the hotels, or at least the non-host hotels? There's been a lot of questions this year about the Westin and Sheraton...

Is there a reason no track tags are allowed? I understand not having ones for guests, since there's so many.

Seconded. It would make scheduling updates/tentative schedules really easy to keep track of, and there's a finite number of them.

It would be really be helpful for those who are looking for particular track info. :) And with the fact that an LJ can have at least a thousand tags, a few more tags, one for each track, would be helpful. :) However, I rather agree on the no-specific guest tags, as there are too many guests.

I would also suggest the following:

art show
dealers' room

Guest photos and autographs. We've had quite a few questions recently on those topics.

Problem is that the people asking have been mostly first-timers and don't necessarily know that Walk of Fame = autographs/photos. :)

A couple more suggestions. :) What about one for bands, and also a tag for fan tables (the later is important because these tables don't sell goods, but inform about services such as SF clubs, cons, and other gatherings)?

Would it be useful to have a "first-timer" tag? It has less of the (ignoratti) connotation than would be found in "newbie" or "noob" or "con virgin" or any of the many other synonyms, plus it might be a useful tag for panel events that are Dragon*Con firsts.

I think it says something, though, that I've been trying to think of a tag you haven't already got for three days, now, and this is the first situation I've found which your list doesn't already cover!

(I also think it's adorable that you didn't tag your post. Yay, something useful I can do!)
