Dollhouse & Torchwood

Okay, Whedonverse, you're looking pretty weak in the guest lists so far (not that I don't love Ron, I do, but I've gotten to the point where James just doesn't count so… yeah…) This year, however, what I'd love to see are some Dollhouse guests.

Since Dollhouse has officially been renewed (hallelujah!!) has there been any talk of Dollhouse guests? Rumors, confirmed, etc? What about other Whedonverse guests?

Also, not Whedonverse, but is there anything in the works for Torchwood guests?

The overall guest list is looking long and robust and certainly nothing to complain about AT ALL (lots to squeal about), but I'm merely curious.

Yeah, and Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion were late ads last year. I think the Whedonverse is already looking pretty strong and will only get better as it gets closer to go time. I am hoping of AT and NF, but they are both involved with tv shows (Castle and V), so I am not going to get my hopes up.

There's also plenty of time for additions. If I remember correctly, a few of the big names from the Whedonverse got added within the last month or so before the con. I would rather have them know they can attend and commit to the date when they join later, vs being signed up early and then having to cancel for work.

See comment above. Plus, the late renewals/cancellations for several shows (+Dollhouse, Castle, Chuck, V, -SCC) could have had an effect on planning for other possible guests, since they wouldn't have known what their schedules would look like.

Me, I have all crossables crossed to get Nathan and Alan back, and to finally get ADAM FREAKING BALDWIN after two years in a row of cancellations.

If memory serves, Nathan wasn't "officially" added last year until around July or August. Plenty of time for more squeeing! :-)

Is there any guest in particular that you are expecting to see? Some of them do cons and some do not.

It's only May and Summer is the season when most guests are added. Most of the ones that are currently engaged in regular shooting schedules are just winding down from the season and are still unsure of their availability.

Trust me...a shortage of guests has not been a problem in our past years :-)

I feel like the Brittrack hasn't announced anything yet. I've got my fingers crossed for DW/TW guests too, and if they happen (which I suspect they might well), I doubt we'll hear it until mid-June.

(this is based on no knowledge at all, just that I guessed right about a ridiculous amount of stuff last year).

You're not the only one waiting! :) James M. does count as a TW guest, and there's also Eric Roberts, who played the Master in the 8th Doctor Who movie. But that's it. *crosses fingers for much more*

I'd love to see Tahmoh come back and do a Dollhouse panel now that he's actually filmed a season and we've seen what the show is like. I feel like last year's Dollhouse panel was kinda wasted since there was so little info on the series. And of course, I'd love to see Dichen Lachman and Enver Gjokaj. And Fran! I so want Fran Kranz to come!
