We made our purchase yesterday. In a way I'm not all that fussed about missing out on the Marriot. At the end of the day, although it's glorious a reservation is a reservation and it's a place to hang your head out of the party.

I don't remember paying 100 dollars at the door when we first came to con 4 years ago- but that's inflation and perhaps a little capitalism due to how big con is becoming.
