The Hyatt opened up  a block of rooms today due to yesterday being the last day for cancellations. Just letting people know just in case at this very late date someone still needed a room or wanted to change from overflow to host.   I think they said they had approx. 30is rooms available.

*****BUT I have a question about parking , last year I parked at a parking garage at the end of the street from the Hyatt, if you walk out the front it was to the right.  they charged 18 a night.  Does anyone know the name of this garage and / or are they still charging 18 a night or has the rate gone up???   anyone who has knowledge of this garage could you give some info please.
thanks

Thank you so much for posting this! I just scored a room. I was almost heartbroken before not to get a con hotel.

All the garages seem to be in the range of $20/day during Con. We get there Thursday midday-ish and usually snag a "first available" spot in the big public parking deck with the HIGH HIGH habitrail that goes to the food court. Take some luggage in, check in, get food, hang out. Once the work crowd heads out, we move the car right next to the habitrail entrance and take the rest of the stuff to our room. Not answering your question, I know...but this deck has been our cars' home away from home for the past few years running.

Parking at one of the MARTA stations is pretty popular. The closest one with parking is the Lenox station. It's a secured covered garage. I believe it's $5 a day. And the MARTA ride isn't too far away.

Parking at the airport is also another popular option, but I'm not sure what the rates are.

According to MARTA's website: (Direction from city)

$5 - Brookhaven (North), Dunwoody (North), Kensington (East), Lennox (Mid-North), Sandy Springs (North)

$8 - College Park (South), Doraville (North), Lindberg (Mid North), North Springs (North).

I got $217 for a double which was only $2 more than my single at the Ritz Carlton. I assume that was conrate I went through passkey. Honestly, I was just so excited. I didn't even think of it.

I also reccommend the parking garage at next to the Marriott. It's superconvenient since it's connected to the habitrails and I've never had a problem with my car there.
