Photo Scavenger Hunt

Just an FYI, looks like the Photo Scavenger Hunt is happening again this year!  I love using this as a way to "curate" my photographing at D*Con (which can easily get out of hand!) and it is so fun trying to hunt down obscure things, or seeking out tracks and panels you wouldn't normally visit.  Like the FILKers--a nice bunch of people, letting me skulk around and photograph them like some stalker, ha.  Last year I dragged my poor friends around on a Sunday while hunting Timmy the ThinkGeek mascot down via Twitter and I totally found him, it was such a sweet, victorious moment.  Maybe I'll win that damn taun-taun sleeping bag this year, sigh.

I don't even know what a Bottle Bob is--I didn't make the list, nor do I have anything to do with the scavenger hunt or the making of it, I'm just someone who really likes taking pictures so this is a fun thing to do during Con! =)

He lives on our TV during the off-season. We were excited to see him on this year's list! LOL.

I loved doing the photo hunt last year, it's such a great way to get people like me out of their shell and to talk to perfect strangers. I can't wait to get started on this years list! =)

I went to do it, but left my list at home... and I think the cylon part got one guy very upset, he kept getting stopped by people wanting to take pics and he was getting a bit flustered (this was at the Hilton near the skybridge and the skeptrack, saturday at about 2pm

or looking a bit weird stopping and run backwards down the side of the marriott pulling out my cellphone to snap a pic of two merlots waitresses I'd just walked past

So remember people, sometimes people get flustered, might have to do a candid shot, or snap onto someone else's pic, I'm sure they don't have to be perfectly composed.

Game of Thrones is the best (I read the books long before the series came out and they're fantastic too)! We're having a big costume group this year, and our major planned shoot is Sunday at noon in the Sheraton pool, although you could also get pictures at the parade and likely just around the Con, because there are some smaller shoots planned for Friday and Saturday.
