Question about badge pick-ups

I know that Saturday pre-reg badges are to be picked up on Saturday only but what about the case of someone who was already getting a full-membership picking the badge up for the Saturday person under the normal rules ? Why would that not be allowed .. the person was already going to be in the pre-reg line anyways so it would not be like there would be a flood of traffic on Thursday by Saturday-Only folks.

Saturday badges can ONLY be picked up on Saturday according to the website more than once.

They will probably not have them there until Saturday.

From what I understand, SAturday badges are not even made until very late Friday night.

The idea is that you can't, say, buy a Monday badge, pick it up Thursday and use it all weekend, because people aren't checking for the days, especially on the Fri+sat.

Plus it means a lot of extra work on those earlier days, plus more stuff to take over (all the extra badge blanks) and have in the way, and more confusion.

You may only pick up the Saturday only pre-reg badge on Saturday.

The wait in line on Saturday morning is likely to be very short.

Pre-reg opens on Saturday at 8 AM.
