Need Hair/MakeUp FX Help

dragoncon_lj_archiveLooking for advise/help from someone with experience Hand Laying Facial Hair/Beards. Doing a Ming the Merciless this year and the Fu Manchu beard I ordered just isn't going to cut it.
Using hand laying techniques, Would it be possible to extend my existing Goatee or will existing facial hair need to go all together?? (Not really a problem, It grows back but I would like to keep it if possible)
Any Hair/Makeup/FX people experienced in doing this available for hire on Saturday sometime to come turn a goatee into nice long Fu Manchu??
