The Daily Dragon's been getting some questions about the Pocket Program and schedule changes. Eugie's tied up with a whole bunch of stuff, so I told her I'd post some info that might be helpful. I'm the layout guru. :)

First, here's the link to the Daily Dragon online. If you have a question, checking there is a good place to start.

The links to the most recent Pocket Program and grid can be found HERE on the Daily Dragon website. Any updated versions will be posted there. NOTE: The Walk of Fame information on page 58 is currently incorrect. The whole Walk of Fame will be in the Hilton (not in the Marriott).

Schedule changes are HERE. This page will be updated throughout the weekend. Most of these changes will also appear in the print version that's distributed at the con. They'll also be included in The D*C Late Show broadcast each morning on D*CTV. Also, the schedule in the D*C mobile app will be updated as often as possible.

Keep in mind that we don't make the schedules; we just report 'em. When it comes to complaints about schedule changes, we're not the droid you're looking for. ;)

Not sure who to suggest this to, but would it be possible to get a version number or date&time stamp on revisions of the Pocket Program? It'd be handy to be able to look at the version number or updated time to see if what's posted currently is different from one downloaded previously.

The eff track reported errors with the schedule grids on SAturday, when the first version came out. The last two tracks on the grid for saturday (virus scanner and busted) are in the wrong spot, and need moving left one each.
It's correct on the track description, just wrong on the grids.

I knew about the printing (my wife's spent 15 yers in pre-press+print) but a modified program was released for download today, without it corrected, and no announcement has been made of the error.

Ok, great :-)

Would hate for people to turn up expecting to see "Why you should NOT use a virus scanner' and get "Busted: 10 simple rules for dealing with the police"

At least the panels are available on the EFForums track though in that case.

I'm trying not to whine, really... but is there any way to get this in something that is editable, and NOT a locked pdf, so I can so some sorting and analysis??

If using the app to add events to "my schedule" and then there are changes - will the personal schedule update as well?

Last year, a Google Docs spreadsheet version of the grid was officially published. Is that not happening this year?
