Being Human @ Dcon

I was thrilled when the actor's who play Josh and Molly on Being Human were announced for this year's show. It would be even cooler if they can get the actor who plays Aiden at Dcon as well. What would be even cooler is if they could get the main cast from the original BBC version at the con. Heres hopin.

That would be very cool for both cast's to be there! I keep hoping that they'll add Sam Witwer and Mark Pellegrino from the U.S. cast. I check it all the time to see if they were added yet. I really like both but I'm a bigger fan of the US version.

I don't think Witwer is going...not from the info I've heard and seen so far, and if D*Con ever got 'with it' enough to invite more British Sci-fi(and telly in general) other than Doctor Who, I think that would be quite the coup.

Seriously though, the cost of first class round trip airfare from England will curl your nose hairs. Also, it's not an easy trip. It's a long time each way in the airplane and a lot of the folks we try to get aren't always up for it though we do try.

I'm curious to know who. (Outcasts aside of course, not even I would want that save for Juliet Aubry) and having travelled quite a bit there and back again I think they could probably handle it just fine...even not riding in first class.

Bummer, I would like to see him. Yeah they would make a killing if they got more British Sci-fi too!Looks like they're getting a pretty good crop of people so far. I'm hoping since it's the 25th Anniversary they'll really do it up right!

That's cool that they got some of the US cast to come. Wish they could get the Brits too!

Also, does it bug anyone else that SyFi claims it's an "Original Series" -- yes, it's an original series... on the UK TV. This is a reboot for the American TV, is it not? (If I'm terribly wrong, let me know...)

I guess for SyFy, "Original Series" means non-syndicated.

I guess it has something to do with the fact that the original creator of the UK version - Toby Whithouse - is an executive producer for the US series.

Love this. I'm a fan of both versions of Being Human but I have to say I LOVE the BBC one better.....just more impressed with the actors of the BBC Being Human.
