Dragon*Con countdown iPhone app

Please someone create a Dragon*Con countdown app for iPhone. It would provide Dragon*Con some free promotion and would be useful for us as well. It could simply be a countdown on the main screen (Days, Hrs, Min, Secs) on the main screen and have an information button in the corner that would go to an informational type screen that would serve to provide a brief description about Dragon*Con answering the 5 W's as well as provide the main Dragon*Con website URL as well as provide the Dragon*Con LiveJournal URL (of course).

And wouldn't it be nice if the DragonCon newsletter actually got sent out with updates once in a while? They could link that with the app.

I use the "Days Until" ap for this. It's free and you can put in any event you want.

Installed the 'Days Until' app ... Love it! ... I also found an unofficial Dragon*Con (Follow Me) iPhone app referenced in a previous Dragon*Con LiveJournal post:
http://bit.ly/dragoncon09 ... It contained the 2009 Dragon*Con schedule ... I hope that they update it for 2010 when it is time (hope they don't forget about it) ...

I had the Dragon*Con ap last year, but dumped it since, I think. (Though maybe I just left the online schedule open? I can't remember!) I'll see what comes up this year!

I would personally prefer a Mobile Dragoncon.org website. It would work better across multiple phones than an Iphone app.

FWIW, the existing D*C website works just fine on my Android phones. Make it your homepage and get that little tease of a counter every time you launch your browser. ;D
