I want to say thank you guys for an awesome con. Staff, hotel employees, other con goers, and almost everyone I ran in to was helpful, friendly and nice. I brought my boyfriend and my stepsister for their first time to the con, and kept telling them that everyone was just so amazing. I'm pretty sure they thought I was living in a fantasy world, cause we all know the real world is full of people who are mean, angry, and will go out of their way to be jerks. Once again, congoers came through. I stopped random people for directions when I was lost, and was pointed in the right directions (even by staffers who weren't currently working). People help open elevator doors, and made room for as many people as possible. I had amazing chats with random people while standing in line (for the elevator, for panels, in dealers/exhibitors halls, at the art show, at the food court.. pretty much anywhere). Again and again and again people promoted the idea that the world in general (not just at the con) is a friendly place, that people are helpful, and you can find something in common with most anyone.

Of course there was the occasional issues like a bunch on non congoers waiting for the elevator and cursing up a storm. Trying to cross the street between the Hyatt and Marriot, people complaining or asking inappropriate questions at panels, etc

But overall, you people are an awesome bunch.
Thanks for making this con so awesome that before the weekend was over, the boy was asking if we were coming back next year.
