Is there not going to be an art show in 2009? I'm seeing no mention of it, not even the normal "information coming soon" bit that's normally there this time of year on the website.

It's me your Dragoncon version of the annoying little brother.

I am still missing paperwork from the show as far as who pre-registered. If you have not received a postcard, I need to hear from you. I always re-enter the paperwork after the show to make the lines flow a little smoother.

I know some of the people have something to do with Frolicon. If you are reading this, are attendees of this convention, have pre-registered, and have not received your postcard, contact me. Otherwise, be prepared to stand in the solutions line at the convention.

Also, I know this does not need to be said, but I will say it anyway. If you have pre-registered and moved, changed your last name, ordered a membership for someone other than yourself online (or in some cases in the mail), I am NOT CLAIRAVOYANT. I do not know this, so how about helping me out.

If you kept the little white sheet, I need that. If you could fax a copy, that is all I really need.

If you like standing in an extra line, by all means, ignore me. If you know of anyone that any of this applies to, please have them contact me.

An informal poll:

What are the most common fannish/geek vocabulary words? The stuff that we sort of expect *everyone* to know, even if they haven't seen the movie, don't work in programming, etc. I'm not interested in whole phrases or references, like "I am not left handed!" or "All your base are belong to us," but rather individual words or concepts, such as "fnord" or "soylent green," or words used in special ways, such as "slash."

Edit: I forgot to say that this is for a class assignment in intercultural communication. :)
