FOR SALE and a question... or two

Wow, I completely forgot I was in this community. Shame on me! However, boredom and the avoiding of work leads to finding many treasures once thought lost. I might as well be all spammy and post a link to my ebay sales whilst I ask a question. First off, the spammage:
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZaranel13
I've got four items there: a Lord of the Rings dress briefly worn at last D*C for all of maybe half an hour before I got thoroughly disgusted with myself over not trying it on BEFORE I got to the con, a bodice, and two sets of embroidered gauntlets, which leads to my question.
How interested, from a con point of view, would folks be in gauntlets of this type? I'm asking because I, personally, prefer embroidered to painted, but the cost ratio just doesn't always make that feasible. However, with my handy dandy new embroidery machine that I can do (almost) aaaaaaany picture with, I'm in giddy wonderland. Unfortunately, it won't magically do my lacing holes for me. *sad face*
So before I go waaaaay overboard and start making the darn things and getting stuck with them, would there be a market for them? Most LARPers want real leather, and while I can embroider on very thin leather, I'm not overly eager to. I've got these insane happy yet impossible visions of seeing my gauntlets all over D*C.
