but a request for info.  Anyone know who the vendor in the Dealer room who was selling all he show ID badges?  They were on the 3rd row or so from the front.  I was specifically looking for the BSG dogtags they were selling.  They'd run out of them on the first day.  Thanks in advance!

Ta!

Edit: Yes, I like many others, am looking for photos of me in two other costumes that I wore:

If you happen to have snapped a shot of me in either of these outfits, I would greatly appreciate a copy!

Ok, in the following link is around 90% of the pictures I have to put online from DragonCon. They are small versions so if you see yourself or see one you like and would like to have a larger version give me an email or something and it’ll be no problem. They’re in no order (mostly I believe right now they’re in the order I took them except the parade) and I’ve yet to add any descriptions. But anyways here ya go.

I just wanted to say a quick 'thank you'  to all involved for making this transatlantic D*C virgin's experience such a good time.  I have some darling American friends who've been telling me about D*C for years, and finally this year I made it over.  What rollicking good fun, and can't wait to do it next year.

Naturally, the first time, one doesn't know what to expect, so as I don't really 'do' characters I just wore my usual street clothes.  Course being a freako goth, my street clothes included these outfits which I wore on Sat & Sun (different hat for the bustled outfit as my precious topper would not have survived the flight)

I had just so much fun, and am already planning a whole new wardrobe for next year! Best of all, apart from all the pretty people in pretty clothes , was makig some great new friends - I shall be keeping up the cultural exchange of silliness like Jaffa Cakes and Spaced.

Only downside, is you can't get a decent cuppa for love nor money!

Hey, folks.. here are my own meager contributions to the D*C picture pool. I have almost no LJ names for my subjects so if you happen to know them, would you mind terribly giving them over? I'd appreciate it!

Big ole pics... low bandwidth BEWARE! )

Hello again :)

I'm going through my camera and realize I have plenty of pics as Jayne in addition to the great folks who have sent in pics already.

EDIT - I am still looking for any pics of my antics with the Malcolm in disguise (in a bonnet, dress) during Saturday night's Firefly shindig.

But I'm looking for some more pics of me dressed up as Snake-Eyes from GIJoe Sunday afternoon:

I've gotten a few of them come in and I really thank y'all for the help.  I spent so much time taking pics of the great costumes here that I didn't get the shots done that I wanted of this version.  It would have been really awesome to be wearing this while I ran into another excellent Snake-Eyes costume and someone dressed as Cobra Commander.

Speaking of good stuff, not only are we home, but the truck only cost less than 600 for the repairs after it was stolen early Sunday morning.

It runs fine and things are slowly getting back to normal.  Thank you for all the well wishes and hopes for a safe journey ... we made it.

Please link photos here or email me through my site

I know [livejournal.com profile] auroraceleste has the corner market on maintaining DC communities, but I created two more...

One for costume groups to get together and hammer things out
[livejournal.com profile] dccostumegroups

and one for costumers/commissions
[livejournal.com profile] cos_commissions

thought they were needed and could be productive :)
