I haven't seen a post like this one, so if it's already out there, excuse my ignorance. I met several cool people via the DragonCon communities last year, and was wondering if any of you lovely people might be interested in finding each other this year?

My contact info is in my profile - what's yours?

Just a quick hello to mention that I will be setting up a table in the dealer's room at Dragon*Con for the first time this year. I sell new and used compact discs (gothic, industrial, soundtracks, etc). Please feel free to post here or email me at info@rxrcds.com if there are any specific titles you are looking for and I will try to have it for you. CDs are mostly $7 each or 3 for $20 with the exception of some out of print or autographed goodies.

Examples of artists currently in stock: The Cure, Depeche Mode, Tori Amos, Nitzer Ebb, Nine Inch Nails, The Smiths, Apoptygma Berzerk, Bjork, Concrete Blonde, HIM, etc. More examples of CD listings can be found at http://www.rxrcds.com although I have about 1000 more CDs ready to go (just not the patience to list on the website).

Thanks! Looking forward to vending this year :)

Does anyone know exactly when they post the exact schedule for the events at DC? You know those horrible little grids per day (lol), I have some newbies you wanted to see the schedule for this year.

Thank you.

About the Star Wars Ep.III MST3K thing... this might sound silly, but who are Gregg & Company? Are they the actual people who worked on MST3K, or are they just some guys doing funny commentary?

Sorry for the the press release vibe here - just wanted to bring it to your attention.

“CANNES DO,” a comedic documentary about the horror-comedy feature “So, You’ve Downloaded A Demon” has been chosen as an official selection for the 2006 DragonCon Film Festival. The movie chronicles the efforts of writer/director Todd Livingston, and producer Ken Meyer as they premiere and market the low-budget movie at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

DragonCon is America's largest, multi-media, popular arts convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film. The event takes place September 1st – 4th, 2006 in Atlanta.

“I screened “So, You’ve Downloaded A Demon” at DragonCon, so having “Cannes Do” in the festival this year is particularly exciting! The audience there just rocks – they’re the best crowd of genre fans I’ve ever seen” says Livingston. The hour-long documentary “Cannes Do” is written & directed by award-winning TV commercial producer/director Steven Tobenkin.

The screening will be on Sunday and Livingston will participate in a panel on Saturday about the experience, as well as several others on gothic horror, filmand comics.

A working television writer & producer, Livingston is best known to comics fans as a writer of horror graphic novels such as THE BLACK FOREST and THE WICKED WEST (co-authored with Eisner nominee Robert Tinnell and drawn by Neil Vokes) and currently the popular comedy webcomic AMERICA JR, co-written with Nick Capetanakis, (Livingston’s partner on “So, You’ve Downloaded A Demon”) and illustrated by Brendon & Brian Fraim (“Wolf Boy”). The critically acclaimed comic strip can be read at www.americajr.net and is updated daily.
