i know i've seen some pictures of a group of girls who were dressed as Alice in Wonderland characters. I was wondering if anyone had links to those pictures? I'm interested in seeing how they looked for future reference
thanks! ^_^

I've been checking out everyone's pictures and they're so rad since I was a first timer this year, but What I'm here for now is to beg people, anyone, if they have, or if they know anyone who has pictures of me in my costume, because I'm looking for extras before I make my huge picture post. I was dressed as Professor Chaos from South Park, and I've thrown in a little link to show you what it looked like:

I don't wanna sound egotistical or anything, but I know people took a buttload of pics, but I've not seen any posted yet. If you anyone could help me out, it'd be great, because I'll be X-posting like hell.

I am such a moron. I met one lady doing a killer Bloodrayne outfit who gave me one of her business cards. Now that I'm home and unpacked, I can't find the freakin' thing!!!

But this got me to thinking, does anyone on the journal know of the professional or semi-professional cosplay/costume models websites. I think it's a safe guess that I'm not the only one who would like this information.

Sorry for the cross-post.

Aisde from "Silent Bob" does anyone have any pics of the Harley Quinnwith the Batman messenger bag? That was me... Or my b/f The Jedi in red with the black pleather tunicky thingy over top?

Another picture request...

Sunday I ran around the con in a blue Enterprise jumpsuit and a pair of animal ears. Several people took pictures of me thinking I was costumed as John Candy from Spaceballs. (Guess more people have seen that movie than Enterprise. *grin*)

Does anyone have a copy of one of those pics, so I can add it to my collection of costuming shots?

Thanks in advance...

The whole time I was watching the masquerade, people kept mentioning that so-and-so spent a year or so working on their costume, etc.  As such, please keep in mind that the Young Adult Track is once again going to be putting a group into the parade next year.  This group consists of all Harry Potterites, Narnia-ites, etc.  If you know of anybody interested in YA themes, please let them know to contact us so that they can coordinate, etc. :)

And yes, this means we're giving you enough time to knit or buy a scarf, make your Aslan costume, or pick up a broom to be Mrs. Pigglewiggle.

Here are my con photos. Most are of the group of people I was hanging out with, but there are a few costume pics here and there. With all the camera police around, it was difficult.

This year was a blast as usual. Every year I've come home as a fan of something new. This year it's Cruxshadows last year it was Voltaire/ I can't wait to see what next year brings.

He's my photos for anyone hunting con photos of themselvs. I have hosted it at Yahoo photos but if anyone wants a copy of a particular picture leave a reply and I can email it to you.

So I'm back from my first ever DragonCon. Definitely a fun place - and wow so many people made so much effort with the costumes! I was very impressed, just wish I hadn't been too shy to talk to people beyond asking if I could take their photo.

Here are my photos for anyone interested, if anyone wants a larger copy of themselves leave me a comment with an e-mail address and which picture you want.

Hiya gang! GUESS WHAT!?!?

We have almost our ENTIRE 2005 DCTV broadcast year up on over at DragonConTV.com.

We even have the incredible moment when our fearless Techops Director [livejournal.com profile] tk0667 (Thomas Kerns) stood up LIVE during the MASQUERADE and proposed to his lovely girlfriend [livejournal.com profile] takaiji (Barrie). CONGRATS you guys from everyone at DCTV!!!!

I also have another HUGE request from everyone. Last year I wanted so badly to make a video montage using the goofiest pictures I could find from DC 2004. Now that we are more popular this year (we're getting recognized in public now!) I figure it's time to do it again. I'll give an example...

Terminator & Barney

Please submit the photos you think would be great for a goofball montage video for DCTV! The photos need to be at least 640x480 and at least PG-13 and under (hey, it's a family show ya know). Make sure we know who you are and how to credit you. yes YOU can see your name and photo on the big screen next year!!

Here's the e-mail address for photo submissions!

I don't smoke, as some of you know, but I think the change has been bad for the consuite. (yes I know there was no choice its a law)
Its like no one wants to start a conversation with a stranger now. Everyone wants to watch the movie...Before you would ask to borrow a light..bum a cig or to just pull up a chair... then a conversation would start. Even those that dared to try and talk this year were given disgusted glances from those watching the flick... Im sure Joe will keep it evolving ... anything to get the old feeling of friendship back in there.

HARO to all of you out there! This is Zankenkodoji, the Kabuki-dancing, fan-toting, hard-drinkin', one-true-you-can-bet-your-sweet-booty-on-it ONI!
Had a great time. Danced the living daylights out of myself, lost my voice, and joined the Party Hard Corps.
ATE like an Oni, I DRANK like an Oni, and I now SLEEP like a tired lil' Oni!
All in all, it was great.

My question is...will more of you show up at "SON OF" next year? I know you all like partying hard, and the Gonzo Filmfest has been around for awhile...but why not give something new a chance? I felt so let down...not that the people who WERE there (you know who you are, you FREAKS! You abominations of humanity! How I love you all! I get treats for all of you!) let me stay that way. For those of you who showed up this year, rest assured that next year it'll only get MORE insane! It's people like you who make "SON OF" the mind-melting spectacular it is.
We're already gutting out the stuff that nobody liked and are even now scouring for the best in warped/twisted/demented/deranged entertainment you Con Dollar can buy! SO GET READY!
"Of course, nobody can be TOLD what SON OF really is...you have to see it for yourself..."

"HOW YOU RIKE COOKAH YOU AH STEAKU?!"
"MEDIUM RARE!"
