James Doohan dead at 85

I usually go to DC with a group of 5-8 guys, and last year was our first year going in costume. We all went as Crazy 88's (the really loud and obnoxious ones). We all had a great time in our costumes last year, and some of the guys want to go as 88's again this year. Personally, though, I'm leaning towards going with a new costume idea but we are having a hard time getting a consensus from the group.

My question is: Do y'all generally try to come up with new costume ideas each year, or stay with the same costume if you find one that 'works'.

I will join in with everyone to say my farewells to James Doohan. :(

My happy note is that my brother has come through and I will definitely make it to Dragon*Con once again. He has bought my son and I first class train tickets to GA. We will be staying at his house, so I have released my hotel rooms--hope the next person on the wait list will enjoy them :). I am so happy--it will really happen :). (I had concerns about not being able to afford the travel down.) YAY!
